A little about me…

I am a mama, a wife, and lover of all things birth

I live in Dallas, TX with my husband Dennis, our little guy Elliot, and our 100-pound lap dog named Franklin.

When I’m not working with my clients, you can probably find me at either Costco, Trader Joes, or exploring somewhere outside while I get my steps in!

I grew up in central Florida and still find myself confused about how to be a big-city girl. Can we trade our traffic for the beach? Please? Thanks ;)

If you were to stop in our home on a random evening, you would most likely smell something yummy cooking and find us having a silly dance party in the kitchen. There is probably laundry that needs folding, dishes that need washing, and toys that need putting away. But we’re in the season of just embracing the messy, and trying to smile and dance along the way.

This is me in labor with Elliot at the hospital…

My love for birth work was born when I was pregnant with Elliot. I honestly never thought about being pregnant... and once I peed on the stick and saw the double lines... I slightly panicked.

I immediately thought about the pain. The freedom I thought I would lose. I had so much fear and anxiety...

At 8 weeks pregnant - I knew I would hire a doula and a midwife.

I knew I wanted help. I knew I wanted the support. I knew I didn't want to walk this journey on my own.

I felt so overwhelmed!

After working with my doula for a few weeks - something unexpected happened.

I went from totally freaked out and overwhelmed to feeling CONFIDENT, EMPOWERED, and ready to own my birth experience. My fear turned into faith. I found myself binging YouTube videos about natural birth, different pushing positions, and the ring of fire (IYKYK).

It was such an incredible experience to quickly go from totally freaked out to freaking obsessed with birth.

I had a rapidly growing desire in my heart to help other mamas feel the same; to walk with them through one of the most challenging, beautiful, and MAGICAL seasons of their life. To help them feel less scared about giving birth!

So, I became a doula…

Soon after I had Elliot, I went through BEST DOULA TRAINING to receive my professional certifications and now I help families across Dallas / Fort Worth thrive during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.

95% of my clients are FIRST TIME moms having their baby in a hospital, although I have done my fair share of home births as well ;)

I work with families by meeting with them prenatally and helping them with childbirth education, birth plan building, and navigating conversations with their health care providers. I support them through birth and into postpartum so that they feel safe, knowledgeable, and ready for parenthood.

I also offer my virtual birth coaching services worldwide for those who are not local or don't prefer a doula at their birth!

I would love to help you have a really great birth experience!! Schedule a free consultation to connect, or just shoot me an email or text :)

In person or virtually, I would love to support you, mama!
